Galle Fort Tours was born from a genuine love for this island and a desire to show travellers its true magic.
Owner and founder Shanilka Menushan grew up exploring the southern coast, climbing fort walls as a child, surfing secret breaks, and learning stories from fishermen and temple elders. Today, he and his passionate team turn that local knowledge into extraordinary journeys for guests from around the world.
We started small, with just one car and a dream to offer something different – honest, flexible, heartfelt travel. Now, we’re proud to be one of Galle’s most trusted boutique tour operators, known for creating seamless, soulful Sri Lanka experiences that guests say changed their lives.
